Written by local Sonoma County author, Jim Ocean with Kathy Ocean, John Lennon’s Glasses is a story of personal transformation as a washed-up singer-songwriter is pulled back from the brink of despair by a pair of mysterious glasses that summon the spirit of John Lennon from the afterlife. Lennon and the main character go on a surreal cross-country and across-the-deceased rock stars as they battle a cosmic threat that wants to extinguish all music from the earth. It’s a wild ride through rock ‘n’ roll history and the music business, rather like The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy meets On the Road.
